About Us

Mark & Terri met and married in Tokyo, Japan in 1986 while they both were stationed at Yokota AB in the U.S. Air Force. After military service, they returned to Mark's hometown of Green Bay, WI to raise their son and daughter. Their career paths went in opposite directions; his to construction/property trades, hers to production, retail and computerized design.

In 2014, with their children grown and successful, they moved to Prescott Valley, AZ in search of warm weather and a new adventure. They fell in love with beautiful Northern Arizona and soon after, their individual skills converged, they realized they had found a new career that they could share and enjoy together. They became full-time REALTORS®.

After proudly serving his country in the U.S. Air Force for ten years, Mark enjoyed a 30-year career that included property management, maintenance, painting, remodeling, and small business ownership. It was only natural that his knowledge and eye for details would lead him to becoming a full-time REALTOR®. Mark enjoys everything about Northern Arizona. In addition to golf, hiking, fishing, cooking, and gardening, he loves finding new places to explore with his bride of 35 years, Terri.

Also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Terri worked for ten years as a Production Planner at Procter & Gamble for Puffs before turning her computer skills to quilt designing. As a small business owner and quilting instructor for 18 years, Terri knows and embraces the importance of providing stellar customer service and paying attention to details. She is dedicated to bringing both to her customers and clients as a full-time REALTOR®. She is still passionate about everything quilting and computers but also enjoys cribbage, hiking, picnicking and any other excuse to be outside in the Arizona sunshine. Her rescued chihuahua, Beanie, is never far from her side.

Mark and Terri formed The Petasek Group to provide professional and exceptional full-time real estate service to their customers and clients. They would love nothing better than to help you with your own piece of Arizona paradise.
